Food and beverages can be catered, or bring your own, sit back and enjoy the cruise. Your captain and crew take care of everything. Your ship includes a fully fitted galley with commercial stove and freezer, should you wish to do your own catering. The wide decks are ideal for taking in the views, or relax belowdecks in the sumptuous main salon, or the private Captain's Quarters (your's for the duration of the cruise).

Your Crew

Captain George ToddCaptain George Todd studied philosophy and liberal arts at a Quaker college in Pennsylvania. Upon graduation he served 5 years active duty as an officer in the Navy where he was a pilot and a staff officer. His first sailing experience was a two year voyage from Hong Kong westabout via Borneo, Suez, the Med and West Indies to the U.S. Then, knowing he belonged to the salt sea, he set about building a business and designing and building the Mallory Todd to be his future home. Someday retirement will call him to again sail the seven seas. Until then he will enjoy chartering with the help of his many "sons" that graduate to their own ships.

Captain Paul JohnsonCaptain Paul Johnson holds a Merchant Marine Masters License, and is a marine consultant in his other life. He has skippered many vessels of all sizes and brings a vast store of sailing knowledge to Mallory. Hailing from storied Vashon Island, he has sailed the Northwest for 30 years. His knowledge of the history and nature of these waters along with his low-key humor is a pleasure to everyone who comes aboard. Ask him to teach you some exotic knot or join him for a spirited expedition to gather mussels and oysters.

Captain Rory MacLysaght Captain Rory MacLysaght holds a Merchant Marine Masters License for Motor and Auxiliary Sail, plus Commercial Assistance Towing. He grew up on the Shannon river in Ireland, and has lived and worked in Europe, Japan and the US.

In addition to skippering Mallory Todd, he is also a web developer, and provides tech support to Sailing Heritage Society and many other non-profits. In a past life, he was a photojournalist in both the US and Japan. Rory manages the technology needs of Mallory Todd, as well as ship-board electronics.

Mallory Todd is a US Coast Guard inspected charter vessel, and undergoes rigorous annual inspections covering all aspects of passenger safety. All cruises are run by a US Coast Guard certified Captain and mate.
